Shawnee continued to explore the themes of interconnectedness between people and place, building on the foundation of her previous works. This series began to take shape after being invited to exhibit at Limn Gallery's 'Freestyle' exhibition, where she created Ponsonby Buzz, drawing inspiration from the city in which the gallery is located. From this starting point, the rest of the series evolved.

Inspired by scenes from her travels abroad, Shawnee experimented with a new medium - a skateboard base. The skateboard’s shape perfectly aligned with the urban, street-style aesthetic that defines her art, while its narrow design pushed her to rethink compositions in new and exciting ways.

This exploration also developed into a series of limited edition boards, marking the launch of a new product line and a significant step in her journey as a creative entrepreneur.
